GBS
Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is a rare neurological disorder that causes sudden muscle weakness and paralysis. At The Children’s Hospital, our multidisciplinary team diagnosed the condition early and immediately started advanced treatment along with intensive rehabilitation. With continuous monitoring, expert neurological care, and dedicated physiotherapy, the child gradually regained strength and returned to normal daily activities.
POLYTRAUMA
A child was admitted with multiple life-threatening injuries following a serious accident. Our emergency team responded immediately with rapid assessment, advanced imaging, and coordinated treatment involving pediatric surgeons, orthopedic specialists, intensivists, and rehabilitation experts. Through timely intervention and comprehensive care, the child made an excellent recovery.
DIABETES KETOACIDOSIS (DKA)
A young patient arrived in critical condition with severe diabetic ketoacidosis. Immediate intensive care, fluid management, insulin therapy, and electrolyte correction helped stabilize the child. Continuous monitoring by our pediatric endocrinology and critical care teams ensured a smooth recovery while educating the family for long-term diabetes management.
SEVERE PNEUMONIA
A child suffering from severe pneumonia was admitted with significant breathing difficulty and low oxygen levels. Our pediatric ICU team provided advanced respiratory support, intensive monitoring, and specialized treatment. With expert medical care and compassionate nursing, the child recovered successfully and was discharged in good health.
