Founded in 2016 by a team of experienced and dedicated pediatric superspecialists, The Children’s Hospital was established with a vision to provide comprehensive pediatric healthcare under one roof. What began as a 40-bed hospital with Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU), and General Pediatrics has steadily grown into one of Vadodara’s most trusted pediatric healthcare institutions.

Over the years, our commitment to excellence has enabled us to expand into a 100-bed exclusive pediatric superspeciality hospital, offering advanced medical care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. We are proud to have achieved both Entry-Level and Full NABH Accreditation, reflecting our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and healthcare quality.

Today, The Children’s Hospital offers a wide range of specialized services, including Pediatric Neurology, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Hemato-Oncology, Pediatric Dentistry, General Pediatrics, NICU, PICU, Emergency & Trauma Care, Laboratory Services, Pharmacy, Vaccination, Physiotherapy, and 24×7 Ambulance Services—all under one roof.

All set to become a landmark in the field of Pediatric healthcare, The children’s hospital has gone leaps and bounds to deliver its mission of bringing quality healthcare services for the Pediatric population of the city of Vadodara. 
We are aligned with our guiding principle “Complete Care for every child “ which is the virtue by which every individual at The children’s hospital works. The team of our expert medical professionals will constantly endeavour to provide accessible, affordable and best available  healthcare services to the children of our city. 

Great ideologies have greater responsibilities and the goals in healthcare services are to safeguard the social fabric of the society as a whole. Charity and the pursuit of excellence are the two fundamental ideals that provide us impetus to focus on the well being of our patients. We have an obligation to provide the best possible treatment, delivered most efficiently, in the shortest possible time and at the minimum cost to the patient. With a career in Pediatric medicine spanning over 25 years, I stand here grateful to the Almighty despite being from a humble background. I met a few gracious souls who have guided me in my journey of life. My father gave me the inspiration and taught me the value of discipline, perseverance and a regulated life. My colleagues and partners have stood by me in thick and thin and have been a great support to realise my dreams. Through our essence of high teamwork, we bring together all necessary disciplines and skills from many resources of our organisation to serve our patients better and to set a league of its own.

We are thrilled to announce that The Children’s Hospital has successfully acquired the Vadodara Critical Child Care Centre. This strategic merger strengthens our commitment to delivering world-class pediatric and neonatal care in Vadodara.

Key Updates:
•  Operations Commence: The integrated facility will begin functioning under The Children’s Hospital from April 1, 2026.
•  PMJAY Scheme Launch: We will introduce the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) scheme at this location, ensuring accessible, high-quality

healthcare for eligible families.

Dr Nitin Agarwal

As the first pediatric critical care specialist in Gujarat, Dr. Agarwal is a highly experienced doctor who is dedicated to providing expert care to his young patients. He has been practicing in Baroda for over 15 years and is widely respected by his peers for his skills and expertise. In addition to his work at our hospital, he is also involved in training and educating other pediatric doctors in the region.

Dr Avani Morzaria

Dr. Morzaria is a compassionate and caring doctor who has a special interest in providing critical care to children. She has been practicing in Baroda since 2013 and has quickly become one of the most respected doctors in her field. Her patients and their families appreciate her kind and gentle manner, and her dedication to providing the highest quality care possible.

Dr. Harish Bariya

Dr. Bariya is a kind and compassionate doctor who has a special talent for working with critically ill children. He has been practicing in Baroda since 2016 and has quickly become known for his ability to provide excellent care in even the most challenging cases. His patients and their families appreciate his warm and friendly manner, as well as his dedication to helping them achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Mukesh Nagar

Dr. Nagar is a highly skilled specialist in newborn care, with many years of experience working with premature and critically ill babies. He is passionate about his work and is committed to using the latest techniques and technologies to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients. In addition to his work at our hospital, he is also involved in research and education in the field of neonatal care.

Special Baby Care Room At Railway Station , Vadodara

The Children’s Hospital Inaugurates Baby Care Room at Vadodara Railway Station on World Breastfeeding Week
 
As part of World Breastfeeding Week 2025, The Children’s Hospital (TCH), Vadodara, proudly inaugurated a dedicated “Baby Care Room” within the patient waiting areas (Ladies Waiting Room and AC Waiting Room) on Platform No. 1 of Vadodara Railway Station.
 
The facility was inaugurated by Honourable Member of Parliament Dr. Hemang Joshi, in the presence of Dr. Nitin Agarwal, Chairman of The Children’s Hospital, and Dr. Mukesh Nagar, Director, Neonatology at TCH.
 
This thoughtful initiative aims to provide a clean, private, and supportive environment for mothers to comfortably breastfeed and care for their infants while traveling—aligning with this year’s global theme of “Prioritize Breadtfeeding : Create Sustainable Support Systems.”
 
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nitin Agarwal emphasized, “As a responsible healthcare institution, we feel privileged to contribute to public welfare and promote sustainable breastfeeding practices. Supporting mothers in public spaces is a crucial step toward improving child health and nutrition.”
 
Dr. Mukesh Nagar added, “Breastfeeding is not just a personal choice; it’s a public health priority. Our aim is to normalize and facilitate breastfeeding in all environments, especially transit hubs like railway stations.”
 
The Children’s Hospital extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Indian Railways and Vadodara Railway Division for their support and collaboration in making this vision a reality.
